Executive Housekeeper | Menlo Park, CA
Our client on the Peninsula seeks an experienced, organized, and detail-oriented full-time Executive Housekeeper to join their team. The home is roughly 6,000 sq ft.
The successful applicant will have a minimum of 5+ years of experience working in fine, upscale homes. Candidates MUST have a car and live in the Bay Area.
The ideal candidate will be honest, trustworthy, and understand the importance of maintaining utmost confidentiality and discretion. The ability to work around the family's schedule while at the same time cleaning and organizing in an efficient manner is important. The candidate should have experience working around busy families and should be warm and friendly to family members and guests.
Thorough knowledge of cleaning – maintaining various surfaces, antiques, and artwork is expected, and a strong understanding of cleaning and care of laundry, the ideal candidate has high-level laundry skills. The candidate must be able to manage his/her time well and prioritize the day ahead.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday; 10:00 am - 6:30 pm, with flexibility to work additional days and hours as requested

Duties and Responsibilities:
High-level laundry skills – full ownership of laundry
Thorough knowledge regarding cleaning and care for various surfaces, antiques, and artwork
Cleaning and preparation of bedrooms/bathrooms of the Primary residence and the Guest House
Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors
Manage vendor appointments
Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies
Dust furniture, fixtures, and fittings
Running errands and special requests
Help with packages, online ordering/returns
Set dining table, serve(daily meals)
Greet houseguests, answer the telephone
Liaise with the family's House Manager
Qualifications and Requirements:
COVID: must be fully vaccinated.
A minimum of 5 years of recent, long-term, high-level housekeeping experience required
Excellent references from past employers
Good English skills
Able to work legally in the United States
Must be able to drive to and from work and run errands on occasion
Understand discretion and respect privacy needs of Principals
Must be willing to travel to other properties throughout the United States
Must be able to lift 35 lbs. bend, stretch, stand for extended periods of time, climb stairs, reach, twist, sit, walk, and run
Compensation:
$55-$60 per hour | DOE
