Overview

Estate Manager | Seattle Area 

A private family is seeking a dedicated Estate Manager for their Seattle Area properties. The ideal candidate possesses a genuine affinity for service and hospitality with exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, absolute confidentiality, and complete integrity. This hands-on role requires maturity, sound judgment, high energy, and the ability to work independently while managing staff and contractors. You are collaborative, patient, have strong communication skills and high emotional intelligence, and can accept feedback, learn from it, and move forward in a positive direction. 

Evening and weekend work is required. While candidates local to the Pacific Northwest are strongly preferred, those who have previously lived in the region with strong knowledge of the area will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage property maintenance, upkeep, repair, and construction projects
  • Source, hire, schedule, and oversee household staff and contractors
  • Operate and maintain security systems in coordination with security provider
  • Manage operating budget, review invoices, and provide regular reporting
  • Maintain vehicles, watercraft, and property belongings
  • Set up, stage, and manage events of all sizes
  • Ensure five-star guest experiences from arrival to departure
  • Lead by example and pitch in wherever needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years as an Estate Manager with hospitality sector experience
  • Construction project/management experience strongly preferred
  • Five-star hotel management and large-scale event oversight highly preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and tech-savvy
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook; smart home systems (Crestron, Lutron, DMP, Avigilon) a plus
  • Valid driver's license and successful background check
  • Authorized to work in the US (sponsorship not available)
  • Located in the Seattle area or at a very minimum, very familiar with the Seattle area (and weather)

Compensation & Benefits: 

  • $175,000++ annually DOE 
  • Comprehensive benefits package
