Overview

Our client, based in the San Francisco Bay Area, is conducting a nationwide search for a top-tier Private Chef to join their household team. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 5+ years of experience in private service, along with a strong foundation in some of the country’s most respected restaurant kitchens. 

Culinary Fit

  • Demonstrates exceptional proficiency in Japanese cuisine, including the ability to execute an elevated omakase experience.

  • Leans toward farm-to-table and Mediterranean cooking styles.

  • Executes at a consistently high level, from ingredient selection to plating and flavor.

  • Transitions seamlessly between refined family meals and elegant dinner parties.

Personality Fit

  • Warm and family-oriented, with a polished, professional presence.

  • Appropriately reserved—not overly chatty.

  • Thrives in a high-standard, service-driven household.


Compensation

  • $200,000+++ per year | DOE
  • Full benefits 

 

The role includes approximately 4–6 weeks of annual travel, so flexibility and a love of sourcing and cooking in new environments are essential. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US and already based in the US.
