Housekeeper

Part-Time Temporary Housekeeper – Atherton, CA
$50-$55+ per hour with guaranteed hours

Our client is searching for a part-time, temporary Housekeeper for their Atherton home for the next six months. This is a flexible schedule to start — 1-2 days per week, including a weekend day if needed — with the potential to grow into a longer-term, ongoing part-time role for the right person.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is knowledgeable about how to efficiently and effectively clean a home, and a great communicator who can collaborate with the client's team if something is broken, not working correctly, or if more cleaning supplies are needed. This is a flexible opportunity, well suited for someone open to a schedule that may evolve over time.

Responsibilities:

• General daily housekeeping 
• Once a week deep cleaning
• Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the outdoor spaces – clearing cobwebs, sweeping, etc.
• Laundry
• Receiving packages
• Communicating with the Family Assistant regarding any maintenance issues or supply needs

Requirements:

• 3+ years of prior experience working in a private estate or in luxury hospitality settings
• Able to work independently and self-manage tasks
• Comfortable and friendly around dogs (2 dogs will be present at times; no pet care duties required)
• Good English communication skills
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US
• Must be within a commutable distance to Atherton 
• Able to undergo a detailed background check
