Private Residence – Colorado Immediate
Start | Live-Out | Full-Time
About the Role
A warm, environmentally conscious family in Colorado is seeking an experienced Full-Time Laundress to join their household team. This is a highly specialized position dedicated exclusively to the care, preservation, and organization of the family's wardrobe and household textiles.
The ideal candidate has a genuine passion for luxury garment care and possesses an exceptional understanding of fabric composition, textile preservation, and alternative, non-toxic cleaning methods. This family is deeply committed to living a healthy lifestyle, and all laundry is completed entirely in-house using environmentally friendly, fragrance-free, and non-toxic products. Nothing is sent out for dry cleaning, making advanced laundering expertise essential.
The successful candidate will understand how to properly care for delicate and natural fibers, including wool, cashmere, silk, linen, and organic cotton, using thoughtful, fabric-specific cleaning techniques that preserve the integrity and longevity of every item. Creativity and resourcefulness in using eco-friendly cleaning methods are highly valued.
This is not a general housekeeping position. The role is dedicated exclusively to laundry, garment care, wardrobe organization, and travel preparation.
The family leads an active lifestyle and has friendly dogs and other small outside animals, so applicants should genuinely enjoy being around pets.
